The doors slowly creaked open and a young woman walked in. She glanced around with some uncertainty. It seemed safe enough, now. She could smell blood, but it was not that fresh and Toy seemed undisturbed for the moment. Stepping inside she looked around, hoping to find a place to sit and write. After a bit she settled with sitting on the steps of the alter and made her way over. The place was completely silent except the ruffling of her skirts and her boots tapping on the ground. It was a bit unnerving. As she sat down Des opened her book to a blank page and began to write.

Vincent was not really religious except for when he needed to be because of his status and the fact that most vampires expected thier leaders to worship. To Vincent all this place really was was a decent place for mass feeding and if he was really bored picking up on girls.
But now he was there because he was supposed to have a meeting with a high priest... who had cancled the meeting. "Damn it." He muttered as he stalked back into the main area from the back offices. "I come all the way out here and they cancle on me..."

Hearing a voice she lifted her head, glancing about. Des found the scource, spotting a vampire coming out from the back. He was obviously displeased, she noticed. Deciding to keep to herself, as usual, the young woman lowered her head and rested her dark blue gaze on the pages of her book. The pen hovered over the page, her train of thought broken.

"What the hell are you staring at?" Vincent growled at the only person in the temple who had been unfortunate enough to glance in his direction and thus gain his attention for a moment.
Stalking toward her just to be a jerk he got a good look at her, and a decent scent, a dhampire... god those things got on his nerves, bastard mistakes of vampires and humans.

Hearing him speak Des glanced up at him, blinking once. She cold hear Toy, in the back of her mind, almost warning her. She didn't really need a warning, though. Pushing her scarlet hair from her eyes she only shook her head in silence. Des was still unsure of what to do and partly relied on Toy for the moment.

"Whats the matter half breed?" He asked as he got closer to her. "Cat got your tounge... when your better adresses you it is considered rude to ignore them."

Des recoiled slightly as he drew closer, carefully pushing herself up. She had hoped for a bit of peace and quiet here, but now she thought that this was the worst place to come for that. After all, if his presence awakened Toy then that meant danger. Not enought o fully bring her out...at least not yet. Quickly pulling her pad from her pocket, she scribbled down a single word on it quickly and held it up for him to see. Mute.

"Aw what happened to you girl?" He asked with a nasty sneer. "Speak your opinion infront of a real vampire and have your tounge cut out." But despite his words he knew that was not likely... dhampies were generally accepted by other vampires, but as a vampire who could trace twelve generations of pure vampire in his family history Vincent was very proud of his heritage.

Again she simply shook her head at his question. Moving back another step she scribbled down on the pad again, resting it on top of her book. What do you want? Des wrote, holding the pad up for him again. Obviously she didn't want any trouble, in fact she didn't even want to be there at the moment.

"TO exterminate all traces of human freedom and make your kind a servent class like they deserve to be." Vincent said ignoring the true aim of her question as he looked her over, wondering the best way to torment her. "Now here is a thought... how about we start with you, why dont you become a servent for me... work would not be hard, just looking over my pets."

A servant? Well, no one wanted to a servant to anyone and Desiree was no exception. She shook her head again, moving back again. Why not just leave, she wondered absently. Of course her alter ego jumped on that question, warning her of his rage. Even if Toy did take control, how much of a chance would she have against a full vampire? Not much, they knew.

"I think you would enjoy it." He said ignoring her. "I treat all those who live with me very well as long as they obey my rules..."

(It's ok. I hope it's not too difficult rp'ing with a mute. u.u)
Once again Des shook her head, gently biting on her bottom lip as she did so. Her dark gaze wandered to the door and she hastily wrote on the pad again. I should leave. After showing him the writing she turned, deciding the best hing to do was to leave quickly. She didn't run or anything, merely walked toward the door while trying to listen in case he decided to follow her, stop her, or anything of the sort.

(No no just there is a storm coming where I am and the pressure is giving me a head ache, make think hard)
When she started to move he followed her and reached out to grab her elbow from behind. "You should be honored by my offer girl, I have killed people for turning me down in the past." Of course he was probably not going to kill her, playing with the mute girl was to much fun.

(Oh, I see. That must stink.)
Des flinched inwardly when he grabbed her, though it didn't seem that harsh. There was a brief, crimson gleam in her eyes but it faded almost instantly. Turning slightly she placed her hand over his, giving her arm a light tug as she mutely asked him to let go. Again she shook her head, shrinking back slightly. Already she could feel her barriers slipping, very slowly, and pure vampiric instinct was slowly beginning to take control.
